Horror on the Orient Express: New Monstrosities expansion

This expansion comes with three completely new types of Monsters. During setup you can decide which Monster you want to use—the green one from the core box or the green one from the New Monstrosities expansion. You can mix and match, but you should alway stick to having three different colors in the game.

In the New Monstrosities expansion, you will find:

7 flying Monster minis on transparent bases
5 abducting Monster minis
3 Flower Lady Monster minis
3 new Monster cards with new Monster abilities

There are 3 types of Monsters in the core game — each with a unique color and a name. They attack the train during the game and they are dangerous to the Passengers, but each in a different way. Monsters appear alongside the train—when they are placed next to the car with no Passengers, they will move forward with the aim of reaching the Locomotive. When the Monsters attack, you will notice very quickly the unique kind of threat each of them pose to your journey.

The new red monster looks to be a very calm woman with a strange haircut, but don’t let its appearance fool you! As soon as this creature notices potential victims, it becomes clear that the woman's body is a twisted disguise for the real creature hidden underneath. She metamorphosizes during the game and reveals her true face—a bloodthirsty plant-like beast that will try to kill everything in its path.

The new blue monsters are winged creatures that spread insanity among the Passengers. How do they do that? They kidnap people from the train and take them on a very unpleasant ride, during which their victims are treated to life-like visions of their own darkest memories… The Passenger is then returned to the train, but never their previous state of mind..

Green insects move in swarms, searching for a warm and cozy space to begin their reproductive process… That’s why they can enter the train cars! It’s quite inconvenient for the passengers, because these monsters cause the train to become even more crowded and dangerous.
