In NOT CHESS, players work in teams to eliminate all of the opponent's pieces. These pieces are divided in to two types - each team has 1 Queen and 15 Not-Queens. While Queens can move any number of spaces, and kill opponents at any time, Not-Queens can only move 1 space, and can only kill pieces if coupled with a NOT CHESS action card. These 90 wacky cards allow pieces to move and murder in increasingly ridiculous ways, from teleporting across the board, to moving multiple pieces in a 'battering ram' to knock out the opponent.
