Church VS. Martin Luther

A must-follow trick-taking game where Martin Luther rebels against the sale of indulgences by the church.

In this game, the red suit (hearts and diamonds) represents money, and the black suit (spade and clubs) represents sin. Game includes a separate phase after trick-taking, where players may use 1 Indulgence card. Red, Black, and Indulgence Cards will be worth different points, depending on whether Martin Luther is present (i.e. a player has no trump and no Indulgence cards) during end-game scoring.

You need a standard playing card deck, in addition to the game-specific components (13 indulgence cards, 5 player aids, and 1 Japanese rules card).
