"Players examine trade relations between American colonies and Britain before the Revolutionary War. The basic conflict between England and the colonies revolves around economic rule of the colonists. Players, in the roles of British government officials, bankers, and colonial merchants, engage in legal trade and smuggling. Merchants seek to maximize profits and the British government tries to balance revenues with expenditures."
